Michigan's Unsheltered Homeless

In an USA Today poll titled "Should cities be able to force homeless people to go to a shelter?", it was not only disturbing that Michigan was 3rd among the highest states with unsheltered homeless, but it was the only "cold" state in the list.

California - 70%
Nevada - 62%
Michigan - 59%
Georgia - 58%
Florida - 57%

Should cities be able to force homeless people to go to a shelter? They should have enough shelters available to allow them reasonable accomidations. In a recent story, the homeless complained that most shelters in the city has simply some chairs and they would fight because you would lose your chair if you had to leave it to relieve yourself.

It is unbearable outside. To think that many have to live out there without shelter is unthinkable. My prayers go out to those to live in this situation as well as those who have to work outside in this weather as well.
